The most significant advantage of Sorare against other NFT games is that it makes the entry to this gaming genre super simple.

Creating an account

Use an invite to sign up. You get a card for free (after winning 5 auctions).

Not necessarily, but useful. Make a wallet on MetaMask and connect them. It makes the transactions easier.

There are a lot of different leagues, and firstly, it doesn’t look very easy to choose one. But the truth is, competing with others is very hard, especially at the beginning.
So that’s the reason why I recommend the All-Star rare league. It’s not the cheapest league because you need rare cards. But the chance to win something is the highest in all competitions. It’s also one of a few leagues where you can win ETH (thresholds). In addition, you only need 4 cards instead of 5 because you CAN use one common card.
Also, I recommend playing the rooky league. There are two main reasons.

You can only win common cards, but all these cards can help you in the All-Star rare league. The more commons you have, the more options you have to win ETH or cards you can sell.
You practice in this league. The game is not so easy at the beginning. As always, the best way is to practice.

In case you choose this league, you need 4 rare cards to play instead of 5.
The goalkeeper is the most expensive position in the game. So take the common card for this position.
Now Defender, midfield and forward, and one additional position of your choice. In general, it’s less risky to take middle positions because these have the biggest access to the game.
The most important thing, the player has to play the whole game. Most points are given for playing minutes. So choose a starter with many playing times.
It is good to specify. Many players of one league or team are easier to follow, and you can better estimate the result.
Don’t take the big player of the big teams. Of course, they often perform well, but they’re costly. Especially for the rare All-Star league, you can choose players from everywhere, so use it.
For example, the Japanese and Korean leagues have good players who bring you points but also aren’t too expensive.
Players above 31 are mostly cheap but have a lot of risks because it’s probably their last years in professional football.
Do not make a panic buy. Some players could be injured or have other problems you don’t see at the first moment.

Also, I would recommend the manager sales because in general, you have the better deals.

There are always two game days per week. So make sure that your player is playing.
Keep in mind that players who play in more than one competition (euro league, Champions League, etc.) could be more useful. They can play twice a week.
If you have players left, use them in training. They gain levels and can make more points for your next games.
Choosing a captain will bring extra percentages for one player. In the rare All-Star league, I would go with less risk because of the thresholds. In other leagues, you have to take more risks because it’s harder to reach rewards.

Also, I concentrate my team on 2–4leagues. I would choose MLS, Japanese or Korean league, and another I know a lot.
